Just recently I have completed reading the book “The Blue Ocean Strategy” by W. Chan Kim and Renée Mauborgne.

I was so impressed by the underlying mission that the authors had when they wrote this book. The amount of work and research that goes into something, that later becomes a textbook for the aspiring Management professionals.

The great detail of the kind of work and strategies to tackle various managerial problems still hold good even after a decade of publishing this book. The companies mentioned therein still hold a strong ground towards the new development in their respective fields.

The growth of these companies, that understood the importance of innovation and did it when the market did not even realize these innovations that helped to create demand for the products, which the consumers at the time did not even think of, the great minds that boosted and created a new set of standards for the other companies involved in the business.

The highly required justice to these companies, in terms of their development and, most of all, their history, which is so beautifully shown along with the necessity of current companies to take these pointers into account, it still applies even after all these years.

I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book and would like to place my utmost regard to the authors for such amazing work, that gives a proper managerial prospect to a Management student like me.
